Here at Morton’s farm we have been embarking on a new project, “The Smokehouse”, aimed at delivering some of the best artisan smoked food available in Norfolk. Our Initial trials have been with smoked chicken & duck breast over whisky infused wood chippings and the results and feedback we have had has been overwhelming. We recently attended the BBC Good Food show in London to showcase our smoked products and also our free range Bronze turkeys for Christmas and had some very good comments. One small child had £10 to spend at the show, after trailing round the 80 odd stands at the show he returned to us to buy one of our smoked duck breasts, so it appeals to all ages.
